Poetry invites us to know ourselves, those around us, and the world in deeper
ways. A poem may open, delight, startle, console, and inspire us. It may move us
and connect us, so that suddenly we are no longer who we were—we are
changed on subtle and even on profound levels.
Please join us for this evening and bring a poem or two that has touched you to
read, or listen and respond to poems brought by others.
The session will be facilitated by Salt Spring poet Lorraine Gane.
