Om Shanti Om plays Gospel, Kirtan and Folk: Devotional Music from East & West with Edgar Hann (button accordion); Em (Marilyn) Walker (guitar, harmonium, vocals); Adam Huber (guitar, vocals); Terri Wyllie (tablas, harmonium, vocals). They draw on their own spiritual and cultural traditions and faiths - Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Tibetan, Celtic and folk combined with traditional and contemporary artists such as Krishna Das and Emmy Lou Harris; and from Mātā Amritānandamayī Devī who is known as Amma, the Hugging Saint. Song sheets are provided so you can join in.
Participation is by Donation, which will be shared with gratitude between the presenters and Star of the Sea for upkeep of this historic, sacred building. Donations may be made at the event or as outlined on our home page.
